Your checklist and what to bring before you leave home.

• Cancel newspapers
  

• Arrange for a neighbour to watch your property
  

• Leave a contact number with a relative
  

• Turn off the gas and electricity
  

• Turn down the phone should it ring out
  

• Arrange for the mailbox and junk mail to be cleared
  

• Have the car and boat serviced, checking tyre pressures etc
  

• Are your credit cards in order
  

• If you have paid a deposit - do you have the receipt packed
  

• Arrange holiday accommodation for the pets - Admirals is "Small Dog Friendly, conditions apply"
  

• Admirals Lodge units are self catered
  

• Admirals supply you with a starter pack and then it is up to you to supply the rest for your stay
  

• Merimbula has a choice of supermarkets in and near town
  

• Beach towels - Admirals Lodge towels are not to be used in the pool or taken to the beach
  

• Surfboards, boogy boards,fishing rods and gear, all packed
  

• DVD's to keep the kids amused on the trip
  

• Have you packed a hairdryer
